1989-1993:
Brian Wade Matkowsky was born in Brampton, Ontario on June 7th, 1989. Some would say I was born a natural Web Designers, while others would say I am a fast learner who is open to learning new skills along the way. Even as a toddler I took things serious and always tried my best no matter what the objective is.
1994-2000:
Growing up I was a normal kid, causing trouble and driving my parents up the wall. I guess I must have pushed them to far because before I knew it I was put on Sports teams to burn off my energy and have someone else be in charge of me while they sit freely on the sidelines. At an early age I started to play baseball and hockey. Over the next few years I started playing in more competitive leagues at a higher level. I love playing sports and staying active.
2001-2007:
I attended Heart Lake Secondary School in Brampton, Ontario for my four-year adventure of High School. Within these four years I decided what I wanted to do, when I wanted to do it and where I wanted to do it. I had a lot of help from a teacher who pointed me in the right direction because of his classes and because of his confidence in me. From going into High School, to College, and now straight to a job in my field I feel that everything has worked out for the best and am very proud with the success I have come across in my early adulthood.
2008-Present:
I have completed and received my diploma for Multimedia Design and Production at Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning. The course I was taken taught me to be fluent with Adobe programs such as; Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, Audition, Flex and Indesign. I am now able to write Action Script 3, Javascript, CSS, HTML and my favorite language PHP. After graduating from College I started to search for a full time job as a Web Designer. Two months later, I found a job with Gracious Livings in Vaughn, Ontario. I created several different websites from them before departing when they were completed. I was also doing a lot of graphic design for them when I wasn't working on their sites. I am currently job searching for a web design and/ or graphic design job.
Future:
Going further into the future I don’t know what I will do or where I will be. I cannot predict what will happen or see myself in ten years. I have set a few goals for myself, which I will stride towards and try to succeed. I want to be a Web Developer who can write code in all the different designing languages, get my name out into the industry and be known as someone who takes their work serious and can excel when given the chance, and to be in an environment where it doesn’t feel like work but feels like a hobby or something I enjoy doing each day. Being a Web Developer is someone who has a passion for designing, creating from scratch and being able to put time and effort into their work.
